Indian Banyan Coffee Table

The Banyan (Ficus) tree grows in various species in Israel which are generically called Indian Banyan. It is the national tree of India. It bears fruits which are a delicacy for fruit-bats, but its wood is also a delicacy for carpenters as it has distinctive shapes and textures. I went a bit wild with the metal legs as the piece itself has no apparent direction. The board also has a natural hole in it which I felt it needed to remain untouched.
